Position Summary

The role of the Sales Consultant is to drive company revenue by selling Beanstream's electronic payment services and products. This is achieved by proactively managing a lead pipeline from inbound calls, internet marketing initiatives, channel partners, VAR's, financial institutions, and merchant acquiring partners. This includes some outbound calling and cross selling to an existing base of customers. As a member of our team, you will work with customers as a sales consultant to understand their needs and requirements and recommend solutions to enable these customers to collect electronic payments in a secure and cost effective manner.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

• Highly developed skills in asking questions, objection handling, negotiation and closing
• Strong capacity for generating revenue and overachieving sales targets
• Ability to produce results with minimum supervision in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Proven ability to take initiative and be a strong self manager
• Strong time management, follow up and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong technical skills and proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
• Knowledge of HTML, ASP, XML or other programming languages an asset
• Bilingual in English and French an asset

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in direct b2b sales, preferably in the payment processing, financial services or technology industries
• University degree, College diploma or equivalent sales experience
