Our goal is to provide our customers with the best valued
services backed by exceptional support. To ensure
that our relationship is positive and rewarding right from the
beginning, we'll guide you through the application and implementation
process with a few easy steps.
First
Steps
First,
if you plan on accepting credit or debit cards then you will need a
merchant account. You can acquire your merchant account through a bank
or through Beanstream. A merchant account is a special type of bank
account that allows you to process credit and/or debit card payments. You need a
separate merchant account for each type of card you wish to
accept and each currency you wish to settle in. If you have a retail
store and already have merchant accounts, you will still need to obtain
new ones for processing payments received over the Internet.

Many
banks require security deposits in order to obtain a merchant accounts.
Beanstream does not require a security deposit and in many cases can
process an application within days. In addition, we provide
the flexibility of having all of your payments deposited into a single
bank account to minimize your banking
costs. Beanstream offers US and CDN dollar Visa and
Mastercard merchant accounts. When you obtain a merchant account from
Beanstream, your company name appears on the credit card
statement and you receive a unique bank issued account!
We do not factor merchant accounts and our services comply with all
current Visa and Mastercard regulations.
Pricing
Beanstream has pricing plans to allow you the flexibility of choosing
the one that most closely suits your current business needs. You may
change plans at any time as your business grows. If

Applying for Payment Processing with or without
Authentication or Hosting Services
- Download, read & sign Beanstream's
terms
& conditions.
- Download, complete & sign the merchant
service application
form.
- If you are applying for merchant accounts,
complete and sign the Toronto Dominion Bank and First
Data merchant agreements. We will send
you these agreements once we have reviewed your application.
- Check the services you want (Packages
1,
3, 4 and 5 on the service application form)
- Fax or mail the terms & conditions,
service application form with selected options, the Toronto Dominion
Bank and First Data merchant agreements (if applicable), and a void
cheque to Beanstream (250-472-2330).
Applying for
Authentication or Hosting Services without Payment Processing
- Download, read & sign Beanstream's
terms
& conditions
- Download, complete & sign the service application form
- Check the services you want (Packages
1,
3, 4 and 5 on the service application form)
- Fax or mail the terms & conditions,
service application form with selected options, and a void
cheque to Beanstream (250-472-2330).
Please be sure to accurately complete the application form to avoid
unnecessary delays.
Once we receive & approve the signed application, you will be
contacted by one of our service representatives and then sent a banking
agreement (if applicable). We will also setup your Beanstream account
and provide you with your login and setup information.
Note: Restricted Businesses
Please read our section on restricted
business types if you are applying for merchant accounts from
Beanstream.
